Xbox Game Pass Only Has 2 Games Confirmed for February 2025 So Far
Xbox Game Pass February 2025: Only Two Games Confirmed So Far
As February 2025 approaches, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are eagerly awaiting the next wave of game additions. However, as of now, only two titles have been officially confirmed for the lineup. While new games are introduced to the service throughout each month, the first half of January 2025 felt relatively quiet. Fortunately, the latter half has been much more exciting for subscribers.
During the second half of January, Xbox Game Pass has seen several notable additions, including day-one releases. Eternal Strands has launched to mostly positive reviews, while Sniper Elite: Resistance is set to arrive on January 30. Additionally, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will be available as a day-one Game Pass title on January 31, rounding out the month’s offerings.
Confirmed Xbox Game Pass Titles for February 2025
Far Cry New Dawn – February 4
Avowed – February 18
Looking ahead to February, Xbox Game Pass subscribers have just two confirmed games to anticipate. First up is Far Cry New Dawn, a spin-off/sequel to Far Cry 5 that originally launched in 2019 to mixed reviews. The bigger highlight, however, is Avowed, the long-awaited RPG from Obsidian Entertainment. Arriving on February 18, Avowed has drawn comparisons to Skyrim, though it opts for large open zones instead of a massive, seamless world. Early impressions suggest it could be one of the year’s standout releases.
While Far Cry New Dawn and Avowed are the only confirmed additions at this time, more games will undoubtedly join Xbox Game Pass in February. Given that Far Cry New Dawn was announced as part of the January 2025 Wave 2 lineup, the next wave of February titles may not be revealed until February 4 or shortly thereafter.
Subscribers should stay tuned for more updates on the February 2025 lineup, and in the meantime, they can mark their calendars for the confirmed additions.
