The inauguration will take place in Washington, DC, beginning at noon local time (17:00 GMT). While most of the scheduled events will happen today, the official ceremonies will conclude on Tuesday with a traditional prayer service at Washington National Cathedral.

Funding
The inauguration is primarily funded by Trump’s committee, chaired by real estate developer Steve Witkoff and former senator Kelly Loeffler. While taxpayers cover the swearing-in ceremony, private donors, including Bezos, Zuckerberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, have pledged $1 million each.
Trump’s inaugural committee has raised over $170 million, surpassing the $106.7 million raised for his first inauguration.
