Disney Lorcana Unveils New Original Character in Latest Update
Disney Lorcana, the popular trading card game (TCG) that brings beloved Disney characters to the card game scene, is set to introduce an exciting new original character named Archazia. This character will be part of the upcoming seventh set, Archazia's Island, which promises to deliver fresh gameplay elements and new cards to fans of the game.
As Disney Lorcana continues to captivate players worldwide with its unique blend of strategy and Disney magic, fans will be thrilled to find Archazia, a mystical figure, in the latest expansion. Archazia is depicted in promotional artwork wearing a striking green and yellow robe adorned with a leaf motif, as well as a bird mask. This intriguing design hints at a character full of mystery and adventure, joining iconic Disney figures in the TCG.
New Set and Additional Features
In addition to Archazia, Archazia's Island will introduce characters from classic Disney franchises such as Alice in Wonderland, 101 Dalmatians, and Beauty and the Beast. The expansion will also bring a host of new products for players to enjoy, including two starter decks—one Ruby/Sapphire and the other Steel/Amethyst themed. For fans of customization, two new card sleeves will be available featuring Cinderella and Ursula, while new playmats featuring Tigger and Big Hero 6 will be released as well.
Also on the horizon for Disney Lorcana fans is a new Trove set, which will offer booster packs, sleeves, and other useful items for deck building.
Looking Ahead: Expanding the Disney Lorcana Universe
Ravenburger, the company behind Disney Lorcana, has teased future expansions for the game. Set eight, titled Reign of Jafar, will release in June and feature the iconic villain Jafar. Set nine, Fabled, is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2025, promising characters from early Disney films like Pocahontas and Pixar’s beloved films. The future of Disney Lorcana is looking bright, with plenty of new adventures to explore in upcoming sets.
