Diablo 4 Player Discovers Broken Druid Build
Game-Changing Discovery: Diablo 4 Player Unveils a Broken Druid Build That Dominates the Game
A Diablo 4 player has uncovered a Druid build that is capable of delivering an astonishing amount of damage, shaking up the game's balance. While Diablo 4 is no stranger to broken builds cropping up after updates, this latest discovery has taken the community by surprise, especially considering how overpowered certain characters have been in past seasons.
Diablo 4 players have previously witnessed powerful builds such as the Whirlwind Barbarian, which became popular for maximizing the Barbarian's melee capabilities, making it a solid choice for both leveling and endgame content. In Season 6, players also uncovered the Spiritborn build, which, when combined with the Unique Sepazontec and Guardian Spirit mechanics, allowed for impressive damage output.
This time, however, it’s the Druid class that’s stealing the spotlight, thanks to Diablo 4 streamer Rob2628. Rob showcased a build in one of his videos that delivered such immense damage the numbers appeared to break, even going negative. What’s even more impressive is that this occurs at Pit 150, the highest level of endgame activity in Diablo 4. Rob2628 took to another video to delve into the reasons behind the build's power, offering his theories about its success.
Cataclysm Druid: The Latest Broken Build in Diablo 4
The build in question revolves around the Druid’s Cataclysm Ultimate, which casts twisters and lightning bolts over time. Rob2628 speculates that the reason behind the build's outrageous damage might be a bug causing Cataclysm to scale with the Druid’s most powerful multipliers, creating an overwhelming cascade of damage numbers when hitting enemies. With the start of Season 7, even more factors contribute to the build’s rise in popularity. For instance, Cataclysm now interacts with the Unique Mjölnic Ryng ring and can also benefit from the Voice of the Stars gem.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time the Druid has been the center of attention in Season 7. Earlier, Rob discovered another broken Druid build known as Boulderstorm, which is a variant of the Boulder build. This build focuses on dealing area damage with the help of the Dolmen Stone and Metamorphic Stone. Despite these powerful builds, Blizzard has yet to address or make adjustments to either the Cataclysm or Boulderstorm builds, leaving players curious to see if these imbalances will be corrected in the future or left unchanged.
With Diablo 4 Season 7 in full swing, players are eagerly awaiting to see whether Blizzard will take action on these broken builds or allow them to dominate the game. In the meantime, players can continue to explore and take advantage of the powerful Druid builds that have taken the Diablo 4 community by storm.
