CoD Black Ops 6 & Warzone: How To Turn Off Auto Token Bank
Take Control of Your Battle Pass Rewards
Each season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone introduces an array of new content, including maps, weapons, and cosmetic items that align with the season’s theme. These cosmetics allow players to customize their experience and stand out in matches.
At the heart of these seasonal rewards is the Battle Pass system, which grants free unlockable content through gameplay, alongside an optional premium version offering additional exclusive rewards. By default, the system includes an Auto Token Bank, which automatically redeems earned rewards. If you prefer to manually select your rewards, here's how to disable this feature.
How to Turn Off Auto Claim Token Bank in Black Ops 6 & Warzone
To disable the Battle Pass Auto Token Bank in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, players must first purchase either version of the Battle Pass, as the option to toggle Auto Token Banking is locked behind ownership. Once the Battle Pass is acquired, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Battle Pass section in the in-game menu.
Locate the ‘Auto’ option in the top right corner.
Press the corresponding command to open the settings menu.
Toggle ‘Auto Claim’ to ‘Off.’
Previously, before the return of the linear Battle Pass system in Black Ops 6, free-to-play users could disable the Auto Token Bank without purchasing the premium pass. However, with the new system, only Battle Pass owners have the ability to manually choose their rewards, while free-to-play players must redeem them in a preset order.
Battle Pass Auto Claim System Explained
Since only Battle Pass owners can prioritize which rewards to unlock first, those who do not purchase it must progress through the pass in a fixed sequence. This makes unlocking key items, such as weapons, more time-consuming for free-to-play users. For instance, to unlock High-Value Target (HVT) rewards, free-to-play players must complete three and then six entire Battle Pass pages before gaining access to them.
For premium Battle Pass owners, the system offers more flexibility. They can skip certain pages, allowing them to prioritize desirable rewards. However, they still need to redeem a minimum number of rewards before progressing to later pages.
This change incentivizes free-to-play players to purchase the Battle Pass to gain greater control over their unlocks and keep up with others in progression. Unlike previous iterations where all players could freely select available rewards—with premium users getting exclusive content and free players choosing from scattered free rewards—this system makes Battle Pass ownership feel more essential for competitive progression.
