Beyoncé Reveals 'Cowboy Carter' Tour Just Ahead of Grammys
Beyoncé shares exciting tour news after a delayed announcement, but keeps fans waiting on details like dates and locations
In a surprise social media post early Sunday, Beyoncé unveiled her upcoming “Cowboy Carter Tour 2025.” Accompanied by a video featuring a glowing sign with the same message, the announcement has sparked excitement among fans, though no specifics about tour dates or locations have been provided.
The announcement comes after Beyoncé postponed a scheduled reveal on January 14 due to the California wildfires. In response to the disaster, her charity, BeyGOOD, pledged $2.5 million in support to families affected in Altadena and Pasadena.
The “Cowboy Carter” album made its public debut during a halftime performance at the Christmas Day game between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens. Streamed live on Netflix, the performance was later released as a stand-alone special. During the broadcast, Netflix teased fans with the phrase “Look at that horse,” referencing the song “SWEET ★ HONEY ★ BUCKIIN’” from the album. The special’s final moments featured vibrant flashes of color synced to the track, before flashing the message: "Cowboy Carter Tour." It remains unclear when this final clip was added.
Beyoncé’s label, Parkwood Entertainment, responded to Netflix’s post with a playful message: “Saddle up, see y’all on the road.”
Beyoncé’s new album, "Cowboy Carter," has already made waves. The album, released in March, marks her eighth consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard Hot 200 chart and made history by topping the Top Country Albums chart, making her the first Black woman to do so. The album's lead single, “Texas Hold ’Em,” has earned multiple nominations for the upcoming Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. It has already gone double platinum.
With 11 Grammy nominations in total for "Cowboy Carter," including the prestigious Album of the Year, Beyoncé is set to make a major impact on Grammys night. Her “Renaissance World Tour,” which debuted around the same time last year, also began in early February, aligning with the start of Black History Month.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting more information on the "Cowboy Carter" tour, as Beyoncé’s next chapter continues to unfold.
